Admissions

Kids Praying

Our admissions are administered by Dorset County Council. Visits to the school are welcome, and we encourage parents to come and see the school and meet the Head and staff. Most of our children transfer to The Woodroffe School in Lyme Regis, and some move on to Colyton Grammar School.

Notice to Parents

The Trust Board of Acorn Multi Academy Trust has agreed to submit a request for a variation to be made to the Admissions arrangements for Marshwood CE Primary Academy for 2021-22, in respect of the over-subscription criteria relating to church attendance.

The variation requested is that " In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these [admissions] arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship". Please follow this link to the amended 2021 Admissions Policy and Supplementary Information Form (SIF)

We are open from Tuesday 2nd June for children who are eligible to return in Reception, Year 1, Year 6 and those classed as vulnerable and children of critical workers. Please email marshwoodoffice@acornacademy.org for further information.
