The school has an active PFA which organises social and fundraising events throughout the year. Activities range from Bingo evenings, Barbecues, Valentines Disco, Fun Rides and Christmas lunch to Coffee mornings, Cake sales and Picnics. Not only do the events raise funds for the school and pre-school, so that equipment and outings can be funded, but they maintain an important social link with the wider community. Our events are always very well supported by village residents and many from further afield. We are always open to new ideas and welcome anyone who wants to become involved.
The PTFA can be contacted via the school office.

Chair Report:
Thank you to everyone who has joined the meeting tonight.
Unfortunately due to the year we have had my report is very brief. Firstly I would like to thank everyone who has helped with all the small things we have managed to do. Also a big thank you must go to Tash, Becci and Sarah for their roles. Let’s hope we are now moving into better times and we can hold some much needed fundraising events. Good luck to the next chair.
Treasurer update:
No accounts at the moment as still sorting through them. Will hold an EGM as soon as possible.
There is £6000 in bank after the money has gone out for the chromebooks- which the children are benefiting well from.
100 club will become 50 club and will run from Sept-July so it runs along the academic year.
Prizes of £10 x 12 for Jan 20- Dec 20 will be drawn soon and the 50 Club will start up again in September 2021.
Election of Officer roles:
Chair – Becci nominated Tash, 2nd by Sam C
Vice Chair – Tash nominated Becci, 2nd by Ann-Marie
Secretary – Sarah F nominated Ann-Marie, 2nd by Sarah C
Treasurer - Sam C nominated Sarah F, 2nd by Ann-Marie
100 Club – Sam B is happy to still stand, agreed by all.
Sarah F thanked Sam C for being Chair for the past year.
Tash to add Ann-Marie to Parentkind.
Ann-Marie asked about Bags for school, may look into other companies to compare prices. Looking to hold one around June time. Sarah F has kindly offered to hold the bags at her house for the collection- more details to come.
Ann-Marie has also asked if it is possible for more equipment to be bought for playtime as not much available currently.
Next meeting will be at The Shaves Cross (tbc) on Thursday 22nd April at 8pm.
Meeting ended at 8.40pm
